Hatfield Group Engineering served as the Façade consultant on 184 Morgan Street - a 41-story multi-family residential building recently completed in Jersey City, New Jersey. Also known as 331 Marin Boulevard, the building fills a once empty lot next to the Powerhouse Arts District, requiring a façade that integrates with the context. The building consists of a 41-story apartment building with approximately 483 units and 513,000 gross square feet.
The façade is a mixture of floor to ceiling glass and reflective decorative panels with an array of vertical lines, giving the building the beautiful shimmering effect envisioned by architect MHS.
