A 49-story residential tower with a four-level podium, featuring flat plate construction and tuned sloshing damper added for comfort.
This LEED Gold Certified, 444-unit residential tower has a distinctively curved facade to open views in all directions including those towards the Chicago River and Lake Michigan. Inside the podium is a five-level parking garage wrapped around with apartment unites, office space and a residential lobby.
The concrete, flat plate apartment tower’s superstructure features a tuned sloshing damper, engineered to achieve occupant comfort using less concrete.
